Mine likes a deal. She shops the estate sale jewelry section at her jeweler. The amount per ounce is the same but you get a discount on the work. The overpriced designer jewelry is reduced drastically. Whatever she brings home always looks new.
I pawned my gold rope chain to cover daycare way back in 2011. I pawned it for SIXTY ****IN DOLLARS! They offered me like $350.00 and I didn't wanna get in that deep since I had every intention of getting it back. And then I forgot about it.
Anyway I have bought a few watches and a gold chain for the wife from Jomashop. I mention that because I used the Affirm finance option every time. With Affirm you can pay it off quickly or spread it out over a year. So that might be an option for you. Oh and you don't have to worry about getting some janky knockoff **** from Jomashop.
