Does anyone know of a good book on wild plant edibles that is focused specifically with regard to Georgia, or even the southeast?

Look on the web for anything by Okefenoke Joe, the outdoorsman that knows the land and swamps of Georgia.

I think there is also a book in the Tom Brown series that is devoted to edible plants.

After looking around more, it looks like most of the books are aimed at the US, couldn't really find any GA specific books out there. It just seems like the plant life would vary too much across the US to have a detailed book that covers the whole country.

check out Medicine Bow Wilderness School in Dahlonega, GA. They have classes on edible plants.
