Will more pew pew companies follow suit?

I think more will do it. I don’t think Glock will. But sig. ruger and Beretta. If not a great idea it’s still fun to just change things up a bit.

Glock and Smith will do it for the LEO contacts, guaranteed. Police follow the military lead in a lot of cases. Look at how many departments have picked the P320 as what they issue these days. A lot of departments would like that flexibility without the issues the 320 seems to have.

From the standpoint of trying to supply dozens, hundreds, even thousands of pistols in multiple configurations for everyone from desk jockeys to SWAT teams, a chassis gun system just makes more sense.

It will take a while... Look how long it took Glock to make striker fired polymers guns the 'standard' for LEO. But when the Gen 6's and M&P 3.0s come out, I'd be stunned if they aren't chassis guns.
