Got my sample pack from the Eddie Eagle program!!! Another step closer to having my own youth firearm safety course!!!! Doesn't pay, but helps protect our youth, which is more reward than I could ever ask for :)

Thanks, I struggle to make sure my daughter is safe and that my son will be. But I'd like to be able to do something passion related. Although I'm far from a "firearms instructor" it's one of the first steps to making sure children are safe around firearms. Eddie eagle programs don't teach safe handling at this age, it teaches the Dont touch, tell an adult, leave the area approach. To me I understand that view and why the NRA would have the same view. It's up to parents to teach safe handling of firearms, but teaching children how to be safe around guns is a big step intodays worlds where many parents are arming themselves and arent proficient or safe themselves. GOing to read my course material now :)
