I think it will get bad, so today I hit pawn shops in Athens, man what a surprise. I found so much stuff that was hard to find. One store had different sections like the history of The Confederate itmes , WW-1 and WW-2 items. Its a family run store, the primary owner is a University of Georgia - ex-professor , For you Georgia Bulldogs fan hundreds of items from former and current players with autographs. I picked up a Hank Aaron 715 homerun picture signed by Aaron , a ball from the pitcher who gave up the home run with a bat, all all ready mounted in perfect condition.

Our local hospital has closed for all but emergencies. They went with the initial forecast of "moderate accumulation". I'll stay home and keep the wood stove burning.

As a native born Texan / southerner, I don't like to drive on ice. I mean, I can, but I don't like it much.

I test ran both generators today , got 40 gallons of gas even though the gennnys only use two gallons a day ,
The Honda EU 2000 is an amazing generator .

Got a crock pot of chicken and rice soup going , Got plenty of firewood , and plenty of food and even found my tire chains .

Got the four wheeler out of the basement and it fired up on the third pull (battery was dead ) despite not being cranked in three years .


I’m prepared so this ain’t gonna be nothing

But I got caught in snowpocalypse about ten years ago so that ain’t ever gonna happen to me again .

We may get a little frozen mix from what the news is saying. Friday morning I think is the time line ….. who knows , it will do what it wants to do !!
