I talked with a group of ODTers at the last NRL22 rimfire match @ Red Hill Range July 26, 2020.

Mostly Steel targets, maybe some trick shot tie breaker stuff.

I could give you a run for the money.
I have a benchrest centerfire rifle (6 HLS) that has not burned powder in more years than some here have been alive.
I keep telling myself I'd love to get into rimfire competitive shooting under the assumption, I'd actually do it. I have a place that would allow unlimited practice. But haven't a clue where to start equipment wise. It's obviously a completely different game.
So yes, as long as there's a 'stock' class, I'd try and go depending on date and locale just to learn what's up.
