The 229 is very nice. The Sig triggers are very smooth and they are very reliable. I have a 239 and it is a fantastic shooter. If I had $600 to spend I wouldn't be wasting any time ordering one of the 229's. You won't find anything new that will touch it for the money.

I saw these for $729 on slickguns a month or two ago and thought that was a killer deal. This is a flat out steal.

They must be getting ready for the new p320 striker fired sigs coming into the lineup.

This has the E2 grip which looks like the SP2022. Thats probably what the guy who said it was polymer was thinking. The P229 is a great gun. The P229 is to the P226 what the G19 is to the G17.
