WTB Colt 1911 frame

Looking for an old Colt 1911 frame. Can be empty as I intend to build on it. Hell, it can be cracked, or otherwise beat up, just not ALL pitted up.

Seen a couple on gunbroker .....steel & aluminum...

There are slides and the like there and on eBay ..

Been looking around for these to try an build me a colt myself .

Will probably have more in one that way . But it shall be fun ..

And you probably know where everything I've seen is already

Thanks for thr info RNC. Somehow I ended up with 4 Colt slides, and 0 Colt frames...Now all these are on frames, just not Colt frames. REALLY need a 1927 Hartford Colt Argentine in a bad way. Could use a 1937 Brazilian, A blued 70 series, an early nickel plated, Also need a 1943 Ithaca slide....

I have a Colt 1911 Brasiliero Excerito Colt 1937. It has an essex frame replaced way back when. The rest of the 1911 is Colt. I am about to list it.

I have a colt 1911 military lower i will trade for a remington UMC 1911 lower.

Gabe, not looking for any Essex frames, I have a very similar set up that I everyday carry. Selon, I have no Remington, but I do have an Ithaca, complete...original finish. It has a 1927 Hartford colt slide on it right now. If we could find someone with and Ithaca slide on a Remington frame we could do a 3 way...
