ya theres a 690 on there for 4500 and a 525 for 3600 but the 690 is bigger than I want to go and the guy with the 525 won't call me back... watching CL like a hawk though stuff comes and goes fast there in this price ran haha

I'm watching too but I'm not too serious about buying yet. I'll probably hit a dealer up around jan-feb and see if I can get a deal on a new one.

You considered a Suzuki Vstrom? They are nice bikes.

As a 450 EXC owner, the Vstrom is not the same, ZERO off road ability.

I do like the way the V]s are on the road.

ya thought about vstroms or klr but I want something I can really thrash around on trails with, which is why I'm going lightweight with a KTM

KTM's are sweet. Hope you are handy with a wrench...they are maintenance hogs. I am looking for a similar type bike, although I want a DR650, reliable as a brick, lots of upgrade potential and CHEAP. Good luck with your search.
