Find you a 78 Sportsman. Same rifle as the 700 except the bolt isn't jeweled, it has a Matt finish and a hardwood stock instead of Walnut. I have one in 30-06 and it's as fine a rifle as you will find. Not fancy but a solid, reliable and accurate gun.
