I was hoping someone would tell me my thinking was wrong. Those are the stats. How does it really read?

I've actually done some research on this. There I believe was one time in history were we had a balanced budget with no debt. Believe it or not the economy was in poor shape. That doesn't work for you and me. So anyway, the economy works better when we have debt as a nation. I don't understand it either, but that's what works. If you and I operated that way, we'd be in trouble.....The full faith and credit of the U.S. government.....When was the last time you were able to buy something on your looks
