I have a Franchi 48 AL 20 ga made in Italy. It has a 26 inch barrel. I'd like to trade it for an over under in similar condition or a handgun or whatever suits my fancy. It shoots great, just not with me aiming. I'm a lefty, it sits too high in my shoulder, and I want a 12 ga.
The condition: The bluing is good, no rust. Some minor scratches on the receiver. The stock has been repaired with a new piece of walnut where it ties into the receiver. Evidently it cracked there and the previous owner lost a small piece. It does not have the original plug, but instead the classic retro wood dowel, how sweet is that.
This is a hunting gun in great condition, not a put it in the case gun so I can admire my gun kinda gun. Like I say, I love the feel and performance of it. I just can't hit anything with it. I'll send detailed pictures to anyone interested. I'm in northwest Georgia.
