This is a Smith and Wesson Model 10 heavy barrel (dash 11, no lock, frame mounted firing pin). Gun was originally a demonstrator model for a S&W armorer's class, and was purchased by a local gunsmith (Aces and Eights) and fine tuned, including a nice trigger job. Very accurate gun. It's in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition.

Comes in original S&W box with Hogue target grips, original S&W rubber grips, and a brass speed loader.

Trades interests:

S&W 317 3" barrel
Other S&W 22LR revolvers
Witness 9mm/22LR combo
1911 in 9mm
Savage 10FCM Scout
Bolt action rifles in 7.62x39

Feel free to suggest other trades. Don't really need any BP or archery at the moment.

the model 10 was an accurate gun before they got started. That's like saying a Mustang was a fast car after he rebuilt the engine...

I did the trigger job and blueing job myself. A more fair comparison is to call that gun a Cobra and the stock pistol a Mustang. It's that much better. Rich will regret selling that gun.
