WW2 M1911a1 .45 CAL Pistol Training film - 15 minutes long.

At least "some" of the shooting was done two handed, but most was 1-handed.
That makes sense because in reality people who carry pistols in a combat zone probably have some other piece of equipment to deal with and therefore they may have to shoot the pistol one handed-- it's not like an infantryman's rifle where that is their primary tool.

The quick double taps on the pop-up targets at various angles from the shooters position was really impressive.

That instructor was shooting faster than I could and yet his accuracy was something I could only achieve by lining up the sights or at least getting a "Flash Sight Picture." But because of his speed, I'm thinking he was probably just point shooting.

I carried a 1911 as a tanker in the 1980's. We got very little training and nothing like in the video. I would have loved to run the same course the guy in the video does with moving targets. That would have been a blast! Pun intended.
