XDs......love it or leave it?

A glock isn't much smaller than a Hi-point, so why spend the extra money for a glock?

Actually the XDS is smaller, and even a 1/10 of an inch can make a huge difference to some people.

I know XDs are a great gun but I just do not like the way they look. They look like the Frankenstein Monster to me. Much too busy. I had an XD 40SC that I just could not love. I never shot it tho.

Take anything people have said about it without firing one and ignore it. Looks are an individual preferance and don't hold any value when talking about function. The only time looks apply is if it changes ergonomics and function. More parts don't mean less quality. Just because a glock has x amount of parts doesn't mean one with more isn't reliable.

Love it- good and accurate. I bought the extra capacity 7 round magazines. It's a great CC gun, reliable and powerful. I was concerned about the kick until I shot a rental at the range. Convinced me to buy one.

Does Springfield sell the 7 round mags or are they aftermarket?

Springfield sell the 7 round mags. I personally, do not like them. The grip is then longer than the gun, and feels very awkward when shooting. My 2 cents.
