The Space Cowboy Marlin in 30-30. I’m a huge fan of tactical and lever rifles. This is one of the coolest firearms I’ve ever seen. Unfortunately the price range is above 5k. Thought some of you might appreciate it and maybe some are more fortunate and can purchase one for themselves. Just invite me over to shoot it. Y’all have a killer day.

Saw a 45/70 threaded tactical at the outdoor blast last weekend… I had a 30/30 threaded a while back but didn’t want to get a new adapter to suppress it… I regret that lol

Now that price is a little more doable. Is a 30-30 going to be more expensive just because it’s 30-30?

The 45/70 was overpriced in my opinion. I think I sold my 30/30 for $700-800 with ammo. It wasn’t the fancy wooden version haha but there are definitely cool lever actions. I have a marlin 22lr leaver with octagonal threaded barrel. It’s pretty sweet. Haha

you can add rails like that to a bunch of lever guns. Then a round saddle/holder, scope mount and 1-4x LPVO, 45* offset red dot (not needed with a good LPVO).

you could DIY this beast for probably $2k. Closer to $3 if you also need the stamps and can.

Seriously? $5,000? That's way over priced. Unless I'm missing something, that's just a Marlin 30-30 that's been threaded and has a Midwest Industry rail on it. $1500 tops! Maybe you get to $3000 if you put some serious glass on it. But $5,000? No way.

Yeah, about double what it should be. The Marlin black in .45-70 went for about $1300 MSRP. I paid that for mine about a year or so ago and felt good about it. $2800? Pshh...but it did come with a box of ammo!

Still haven’t shot it.....
