The old trusty 1911 -- out of all the various handguns I've tried -- seems to point most naturally to the target for me when presenting out.

I've tried various models of Sig Sauer DA/SA (not the newer striker fired ones), all manner of Glocks, Berettas, S&W revolvers, and even a Ruger Mark IV 22/45.

Are there other brands or specific models of pistols I'm missing, where the grip is very similar in angle to a 1911 style gun?

I'm still looking for a CC pistol that's very reliable, holds 10-15 rounds, easy to conceal, etc. Maybe the bobtail 1911 I have is the best I'm going to find.

Glock 48 is worth looking at. Don't knock it until you have held one. It is quite nice, and I'm no fan of the Glock double stack grip angle.

Some of the CZ's are really nice too.

The other grip safety gun has the 1911 grip angle. The good ol xd. The Croatian creation stamped by Springfield. That was one of there ad features back in the day. Peeps don’t care for those like they do 1911s though.

S&W M&P. I have shop 1911s for most of my life. The M&P points just like a 1911.

Really enjoying mine. Its a night and day difference between my other stuff. Its like you dont even have to aim the dang thing. My wife gave me her glock after shooting the full size 2.0 which she now carries. I got rid of the glock and carry a shield now. It shoots just as well as the full size.
