So I have this wonderful Smith & Wesson 686. Great pistol.
But I noticed I was having some difficulty closing the cylinder into the frame. The yoke seemed loose.
Pulled the yoke screw and thought it looked funny. After some research found out there is a spring-loaded plunger INSIDE the screw.
Who knew?
Ordered a new one and all is well. But you have to order the yoke screw "assembly". I ordered a yoke screw from Midway and it DID NOT have the spring or plunger.
See below
Is there a method to get the plunger to pop back out? It's in there pretty tight.
