I paid less taxes too...because I made a lot less back then and was paying over 4 bucks a gallon for gas to get anywhere. The National debt has been bickered about all my life and I'm sure before my time as well. Seems to me it's just a talking point. Like any big business, you don't use your own money when you can borrow at low interest rates. I really don't think it will ever get paid down, will likely continue to constantly increase regardless of who is president, and I don't see what it has to do with where your kids sleep. Did you ever get put on the street because your parent's generation saw an increased national debt?
