You Think Ammo is Hard to Find Now? ( Cabela's Lawsuit )

Here’s the deal- federal law already exists protecting retailers and manufacturers from lawsuits arising from improper use of products. Then, since we know the statist left will find loop holes around any law they don’t like, Congress passed a law specifically protecting firearms and ammunition manufacturers and retailers from the same kind of “lawsuit shopping” that you see taking place in this case. In other words, this lawsuit is being pursued in violation of existing federal law. Obama probably would have allowed it to go forward, but DJT won’t.

What has Trump done in 4 years? Trump was against guns from the beginning and then switched when he received strong opposition from the 2A community. He's an opportunist. The NRA has him paid off and that's the only reason he has laid off talking about gun control. There's several videos and sources of what he's said and done.

Feb. 28, 2017: Trump signed a bill into law rolling back an Obama-era regulation that made it harder for people with mental illness to purchase guns. That Obama-era measure had included people receiving Social Security checks for mental illnesses and people deemed unfit to handle their own financial affairs to the national background check database.

Feb. 28, 2018: During that televised meeting with lawmakers, Trump was open to supporting the assault weapons ban proposed by California Senator Feinstein. He also said, “I like taking the guns early, like in this crazy man’s case that just took place in Florida. He had a lot of firearms. They saw everything. To go to court would have taken a long time. So you could do exactly what you’re saying, but take the guns first, go through due process second.”

March 12, 2018: Trump called for all states to adopt Extreme Risk Protection Orders (ERPOs), also known as “red-flag laws” which allow law enforcement to remove firearms from individuals who are a reportedly a threat to themselves or others and to prevent individuals from purchasing firearms.

Parkland, Florida: Trump said his administration would “work on getting the age of gun sales up to 21 instead of 18.” He also supported the significant expansion of federal background check laws, including so-called universal background checks.

And yet Obama had less firearms prosecutions, less gun law initiatives, and actually implemented a law that kept mentally ill people from getting guns but Trump repealed it. Trump has pushed the DOJ to have more firearms convictions than any other President.

In fiscal year 2019, the Department of Justice successfully prosecuted 10,623 defendants of firearms offenses. That’s the most since at least fiscal year 1992, based on a review of the department’s annual statistical reports since fiscal year 1992. The previous high was 10,466 in fiscal 2006.

It's so reassuring to know that Biden's not gonna touch our 2A rights.........

I assume this wasn't your intent but you've proven why Trump for all his 'bump stock' faults, is infinitely better than this idiot. https://joebiden.com/gunsafety/ Have you even read that before you voted?
On Trumps WORST day he never proposed such blatantly unconstitutional tripe. Yes, I have zero doubt that under the right circumstance (school shooting) he'd have likely signed an AWB had the Dems controlled both houses. But, he didn't.
As far as the items you listed, the vast majority of legal gun owners do not want new laws, they are tired of the existing laws not getting enforced. How many prosecutions under Obama for felons attempting to purchase guns under NICS? So your beef is that the Trump administration dared to enforce existing laws instead of create new ones (that presumably you would not want enforced)? Really?
Do I need to mention 'gunwalker'. Gee, it's "almost" like Obama WANTED criminals to have guns. A suspicious person might think there was a reason for that....
The people that were prevented from owning firearms and having means of self defense were not judged to be a danger to themselves or anyone else. They were adjudicated to not be able to handle their fiscal affairs. If that was the water mark, there'd be a bunch of people on these boards that should have their guns taken from them. But apparently you favor that.
For Democrats gun owners to EVER attempt to attack even the worst Republican on their gun control stances is beyond laughable (I will grant you, Trump was no Republican.).
You pretend to be for less gun control yet you voted for Biden and will vote for Ossoff again. Am I wrong? 2 of the most clearly anti gun stated platforms in our lifetimes. I'm guessing if she was in your district you voted for McBath too?
Keep voting for Democrats and shooting yourself in the foot. There is no populace as easy to control as that which is actively complicit in their own demise.

So....this is all Trump's fault that Cabela's is being sued?

PROPOSED doesn't not mean automatically done. This happens every single election and nothing changes. Worse was said about Obama and what did he do to take guns away? Nothing.

My point is people are blaming everyone but the sitting president. He made laws that infringe upon 2A rights, but I don't hear anyone in here complaining about that. Ya'll are a bunch of hypocrites. Never did I say Biden or anyone else was better, I just call a spade a spade. Hold people accountable that are in charge, instead of blaming Hillary or Obama or whomever else.

What you also seem to forget is that there is more to voting than JUST 2A RIGHTS. If you based your vote off of one issue and nothing else, you are severely flawed. There's a million reason NOT to vote for Trump.

Here's a very simple morality check. If you ever find yourself agreeing with white supremacists, then something is wrong with you. Besides the blatant attacks on people of color, degrading women, lying every single day without pause, doing business with the same bank of China that he accused Biden of, and a hundred other offenses... what else do you need to condemn a pos like that? If Obama did ANY of those things, yall would still be harping on it.
