Happy Friday Gents!

Okay, perhaps it doesn't need to be completely beat up, but I bought one of those takedown conversion kits so I would be replacing the stock and the barrel anyways...so I don't really want to pay a premium for something that I won't use.

I'm willing to travel an hour or so, and I'm out in the Calhoun/Dalton area until Monday, then back at Ft Benning after that.

The cheapest source for a 10/22 is just going to the store and buying a new one. They seem to increase in value 50%-100% just showing up here. That's what I did when i was looking for an inexpensive gun to leave out of the safe for racoons and possums. Caught one on sale for ~200 and never looked back.

I'd tend to agree, but the problem is getting one in stock or one to order that will come with a committed date for delivery.

Walmart in towne lake had one this week for that $225 price. I think the cheapest I’ve seen was years ago I got a beat up one for $150... cleaned up fine... but I haven’t seen a deal like that in a LONG time. 10/22s are the best.

You'd think 10/22's on this site are an endangered species judging by asking prices. Staying on top of big box sites for a new one is probably the way to go. Good luck.
