Gov. issued ID with Expiration Date.........100% legal.

Much more difficult to obtain a GWCL than a Driver's License or an ID Card............you actually have to be a "Legal Resident" to get a GWCL..........the same can not be said for a DL or ID card.

My wife worked at Suntrust and said they don't take it as I.D.

I guess that's their choice, but the State may have something to say about that......State-issued photo ID cards serve as legal forms of identification for education, employment and business purposes. Because they feature a recent photograph of the subject, a valid address and signature, they are the one of the most commonly requested type of legal identification.......it certainly is issued by the state and meets all the criteria.

May be worth a letter from GeorgiaCarry.org to their corp HQ...........

I meets all the criteria for ID and anybody that tells you it does not, is wrong!! I use mine whenever ID is requested and have for 8 or 9 months now.

I used to jokingly hold up my old style one with one hand and the thumb on my other hand for comparison/identification. Some laughed, some actually thought I was serious.

I tried to use mine for second form of ID for driver lisc renewal and thy wouldn't except it. I asked why not I had to be finger printed and undergo FBI
back ground check. she shrugged her shoulders and said they just would not let her accept it, go figure

The GA DDS allows it for proof of residence to GET your driver's license so it should suffice for anyone else..
