Gov. issued ID with Expiration Date.........100% legal.

Much more difficult to obtain a GWCL than a Driver's License or an ID Card............you actually have to be a legal US Citizen to get a GWCL..........the same can not be said for a DL or ID card.

It can be used as ID if need be. However, I'd rather use my DL. Might make a liberal piss their pants.

I use it every chance I get, just to see the look on their face.

I try to use my Sam's Club Card, but it's not a gov't I.D.

Kroger wouldn't take it yesterday.

Have had the same problem at my local Kroger too. When my DL renewal was coming in the mail I just used my GWL everywhere instead of that paper crap they give you. On more than one occasion, they said "no, I need to see ID." This is ****ing ID. And they want $15 an hour...

I was not correct in what I posted..........Legal Resident is the correct term.........I will change my original post to reflect this. Thanks to all those who correct my error!

My point still remains that you can get a DL without being in this country legally, but you can not get a GWCL.
