Stopped by bargain barn today for the clearance sale before they shut down forever. I'm pretty sure they marked everything up in anticipation of the sale. Even with the 20% discount the optics were cheaper on Amazon. Better prices on sgammo for the ammo i spot checked.

Guns are 10% off msrp, you can find them cheaper on the web.

Unless your in the area it's a wasted drive.

I’ve seen a few shout-outs to gun shops in the past but am curious as to what y'alls favorites, or not, are and why. For instance, I live on the east side and like Clyde’s Armory in Athens. They always greet me when I come in and are usually really helpful. Franklin's down the road is the exact opposite and is full of @sshats IMO.

What are some really good local shops to do business with when talking both price and customer service? Figure this could be both entertaining and informative. Fire away.

I like Hi Caliber for its friendly and knowledgeable staff. I also like the simplicity of its range.I like the free transfers and reasonable prices at Cherokee g&p.
I like the prices and service at Dahlonega g&p but hate the drive.

ESS Gun Shop on Hwy 81 in Loganville - small shop but GREAT owner. Easy to deal with and usually has some interesting used items.
