While I don't have a photo of my first car. It was like this one... It was black, not green...

1950 Fleetline Super Deluxe 4 door. Had a 350 Chevy engine, custom frame, air conditioning (I Installed it), automatic transmission.

1960 VW Beatle, in 1970, and I am mostly gray-headed (what's left).
I miss prices back then; In the early 70's, you could buy a new car for $1595.

1970 camaro, 350 4 bolt main 3/4 cam, the works, turbo 350 tranny, L60 tires on back, 4" skinnies on front, center line wheels, dark hunter green. She would run like a scolded dog. Had her 5 months, and my parents sold it cause I got into too much trouble. Had to pay court cost, tickets, and get my license back after a year. I guess the good Lord was looking out for me.

My first car was a 1984 Plymouth Aries station wagon, blue with wood trim. I got it in 1994 and it only had 34,000 miles on it. I hit 8 deer with that thing before it died.

Mine was in the early 80s my Dad gave me his 1967 Buick Lesabre. He had bought it 2 years earlier for $100 with no gas tank. He spent $75 for a tank and we painted it in the driveway. It was a beast but whenever my friends and I went out we took my car cuz it would everybody. Lots of great memories about that car.

It was 1973 and my first car was a 1968 Dodge Super Bee , orange with a black stripe across the back, 383 magnum and a hurst 4 speed tranny. That baby would flat out run! I ran a jack hammer for a construction company all summer to earn the $650 it cost me to buy it. Great times

Oh and the 8 track tape deck , gotta have the tunes ;-)
