Your pistol does not use "clips"

You guys have confused the crap out of me, now I don't know what to call those little metal box thingys that hold the tinier metal pointed thingys in them:)

Seriously, I only call them clips when I turn the gun sideways for a kill shot!

Don't they store all of the explosives on a ship in a magazine?
I'm not a sailor so I may have the nomenclature wrong. But I think I am right http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magazine_(artillery)

Not a sailor either, but you are right. In the early days the term magazine transfered to the ships. I don't think they call it that now, maybe some of the Navy guys can let us know for sure. I don't study the history of the Navy as much as land war so I'd be afraid to say for sure.

If anything, this argument is good to learn some history. I don't care which term someone uses..........until it's a buddy of mine at the range and then it's ON.
