Here’s another total basket case….I have no before pics, but I bought this one from a member on here for a VERY good price, only problem is I forgot my glasses when I went to meet him. When I got it home and put my glasses on I was shocked at how pitted up the gun was. Seller made it clear that it was a parts gun, so we’re good there…it was functional, but the barrel was way too far gone for me to try to shoot it. This WAS a 1903 Colt hammerless, now it’s a 1908 Colt hammerless suppressor host. I found the .380 threaded barrel online, and got a couple of .380 Colt mags as well. I had to respring it, and clean it up to get it running. As for the pits, they are filled with ceramic paint….paint it, cook it, sand it flat…..paint it again, cook it, sand it flat…many times until it looked decent, then a final coat, cook, and polish. The only thing on this gun that was bad enough to scare me was the .32 barrel, and It was replaced…

I’ve got some work to do still, but it’s shaping up. I have a friend that I did an Amigo for, and his dad wants a full size version.
