Has anyone had the pleasure of shooting out here yet? I went for the first time today and man was I impressed! The electronic targets are the coolest thing since sliced bread. There is no walking down range, no messing with paper targets, no mess, no fuss at all! You shoot and it just shows you where you hit on a nifty little screen at your station. I have never shot at any range longer than 100yrds and today I was able to stretch it out to 600yrds! Their main range has targets at 200/300/600 yards, and man that's a long way away! Today I took my MVP 5.56 with its Sightmark Triple Duty 2.5-10x and (as it turns out) some not so great reloads BUT the majority were pretty good. This is sighted nicely at 100yrds so I never touched the turrets just figured out my hold over spots and squeezed the bang switch.
They also have several other ranges including a 25/50 yrd PISTOL range with paper or steel targets and an action pistol range (was closed today for IDPA match setup for tmrw).
After spending some time on range #1 I went to play at the sporting clays course. It's a 15 station 100 bird course. I was out there alone today so pulling for myself was kinda tricky. The delay function was not working properly so I put the controller on the ground and stepped on the buttons as needed (with mixed results). Over all it's a challenging course that is setup very nicely. They also have a trap field and a 5 stand.
The prices are right one, the facility is first class and the staff was excellent! I definatly recommend everyone take a day and go play.

Open to the public! Cost is $20 for half day or $35 for full day (for rifle/pistol ranges). Sporting clays was $35 for the course. I must have made a good impression on the cashier cuz she only charged me $27 and a free golf cart for the clays!

Shooting a match there in the morning. I'm excited!
You must be shooting the IDPA. I was going to stick around and play too but I'm missing a couple mags for a few of my pistols. I know they're all in a box somewhere but i couldnt find them so I wasn't going to buy more and a hotel to stay in Aniston just to shoot in the comp. I'll be driving out again on Sunday morning to shoot for the day if anyone wants to join!

How long (time) of a drive is it from Douglasville? I am off work Monday and Tuesday and was thinking about trying to go on Tuesday to an outdoor range somewhere to shoot my Rem 700 and my 556 SBR.

BTW, nice shooting!

Well brother some bad news for ya. They are only open Wed. ~ Sun. And it was 80 miles from Dville (all hwy really, about 1.25hrs). Your best bet for a Tuesday shoot will prob be Advanced Bullets at exit 19, but they only have a 100yrd range. I have heard there is a 200 yrd range in Bremen but I can't confirm that.
