Does anyone know what the rule is for the max height before you need to get a permit for a deck in Gwinnett County? I can't find it anywhere in code. But I see several articles saying generally if it's less than 30 inches high and less than 200 Sq feet, it doesn't need a permit. I have a sloped backyard and I want to build a simple platform deck myself. I can build a deck to code based on provided specifications, so im not concerned with safety. But the permitting process is complicated and I'd like to just build a simple deck and call it a day lol
