Really needing a th350/400 torque converter near Kennesaw to finish up my motor install today. I would prefer something with about 3000 stall and ballooning plates, but beggars can't be choosers

Man I've got a real dumb issue, I'll keep this as concise as possible.

When trying to install my converter onto my th400 the converter would not spline on (another long story, but I had this converter rebuilt because of another unrelated issue in another car awhile back and never used it). I assumed it was an issue with the rebuilt converter so I went and bought another converter from a guy on fb, and well this new one does not fit. I went ahead and pulled the input shaft/front drum assembly out just to see if it would spline in either converter (I assumed operator error on my part), but to my dismay the input shaft would not spline into either converter............. Now I'm lost, I've ordered a input shaft/drum assembly from transmission parts unlimited in Marietta, but it still hasn't came in.

Also it should be noted that I cant see any blemishes on the input shaft.

Any info would be greatly appreciated transfixer transfixer
