LOL @ GCA writer Tom Taylor admitting to private purchase across State lines.

Asking for a friend....George lives in Georgia, Al lives in Alabama.

George drives to AL and buys a long gun from AL...private sale, no dealers or FFL involved...George is in deep do-do, or they both are??

How about if Al drives his gun over into GA and sells to George, is AL the only person in violation or are both?

Again, for a friend.

Let's say someone bought a value pack of Quilted Northern at the Centre, AL Walmart this morning. He brought it back to Rome, GA, crossing the state line near Coosa, GA. If he uses a roll of the toilet paper from the package for its intended purpose first in Georgia, can he then take another roll from the same package with him to AL when he goes camping at Little River Canyon next month? Or, will he be in a s**tload of trouble if he uses rolls from the same package in two different states?

What if a person from Ga. moves to Ala. takes his guns with him and then sells one to someone else in Ala.That should be legal. So really whats the difference?

Once a "legal resident" no law prohibits transfer from legal resident to legal non-prohibited resident.... yet.

This will be lost on many....
