Added this RAR Predator 22lr to the family. This is my Heavy Bolt/ Tactical Squirrel rifle. Glass is the Nikon P Rimfire 2-7x32.

With little brother RAR Compact 22lr

And the entire Ruger Rimfire Family

I need intervention. Range report in the Predator soon!

Very cool! I've been seeing some .22 Precision matches popping up lately that go out to 300 yards, and this was on my short list as a possible starter rifle for it.

I will let you know in a couple of days. Always had great experience with Nikon. I was going to go with the EFR scope but my LGS matched the Academy and Midway sale price of $139.99-had to jump on it.

If it shoots like my RAR compact it could serve that purpose. Trigger spring mod and about 500 rounds down the tube and the compact really started grouping well. I hope the Predator does the same. Stay tuned.

Don't sleep on the Vortex rimfire scopes. They have a Diamondback and Crossfire II versions.The Weaver Classic line has served me well. I live in the $125.00-$200.00 price range on glass. I put everything together for hunting not precision/target work.
