I keep reading about all these good deals some of you guys are getting on your AKs, but every time I go to the LGS, they have them for the $ 600 to $ 700 range. Where are these mysterious $ 400 to $ 500 guns?

This. I saw a 600 dollar Draco pistol today . Crazy!

Hates: Lack of modularity. Very crude design (sacrafice accuracy and tight action for reliability). The gun was never made to be fixed if broken, it was meant to be riveted together, thrown in the arms of a peasant, and fight for glorious communism.

Held together by rivets, that's 13 extra things to come loose.

The end all be all reliability aspect is HIGHLY over spoken, as there are several design flaws to hinder its reliability.

Nobody makes a GOOD trigger. Even my red star arms trigger is frail in comparison to my AR triggers

The sight radius is laughable at best

The ergonomics suck especially if you have long arms like mine
