Looking for a tranny shop preferably in the northern suburbs to rebuild a 4l80e that'll be behind a healthy small block.

All I can say is, when it comes to transmissions, don't look for who is close or who is affordable. Look for who has the reputation and pay whatever it is they want

HAHA. I had to click the link before I realized it was't a transmission shop. I've learned that transmission guys don't generally like the term "tranny" to describe what they do.

the aamco here in henry co is great. they did my 02 chevy z71 when my trans went out right after my knee surgery they was the best price , best warranty . and had great reviews ! ( i was a ford tech for years and feel like they did a great job )

tim king's shop is in paulding best mechanic I have ever had and he knows the best transmission guy that does new or rebuilds around.
Just did my chevy 6 months ago and my turbo diesel 9 months ago
