Me too! I had my sig cerakoted,and now a little clp is all it gets! So what if it gets a little rusty, swet will do that also.

I must sweat acid. I do this with my Shield and I'm getting a spot on the slide. How often is periodically for you?

My Shield has spots on it as well. My 442 and Glock 19 dont. While the Shields a great gun S&W dropped the ball on their "hi speed" coating, I've heard of other accounts of this as well.

I clean inside and out with Remoil after monthly range time. I don't care what it looks like as long as it functions.
