Double is nice and smooth with slight stacking, single is a light as you would want it for a 44 magnum. I think it's phenomenal in my own humble opinion.- Fire4Effect

Where the top strap has been I would assume bead blasted to remove the finish and prevent reflections there appear to be some markings made from this process and the matte finish extends slightly on to the vertical side of the barrel.
