  1. growth in my safe?

Do you oil your slings when you clean your guns before putting them away?
  2. Whatcha think about these apples? Repealing the NFA

I know of one very happy fella that will have one next-day! :hungry:
  3. Whatcha think about these apples? Repealing the NFA

It's unconstitutional anyway. It should be gone. Then do the Civil Rights Act for the same reason.
  4. Home insulation question

Yeah, you should be paper inside. Wear a mask too, you only get one pair of lungs and fiberglass doesn't degrade and get swept out like some other junk you breathe in does. Did you get the squirrel hole boarded up?
  5. Home insulation question

I'm pretty sure paper out is northern or mountainous climates. Paper to the wall is hotter climates. Are you in the mountains? You could spray-adhesive glue that stuff right back up there too and call it good. Might save a buck!
  6. Coyote at close range?

Someone's in the Christmas spirit. I've had too many CCIs fail to cycle, fail to fire, etc. to ever trust them in my guns. The last thing I want when I'm shooting is a dead "thunk" when I'm expecting Bang.
  7. Coyote at close range?

    Fanboy?
  8. Coyote at close range?

I do not shoot CCis. Ever.
  9. Coyote at close range?

Shooting them out of a cannon in bulk. I've never had them block up. Been shooting Colibris in town out of a marlin 60 for about 5 years. I have had the occasional one of them fail to cycle but yank the slide and you're off again. Until you try them, don't go around calling BS.
  10. Coyote at close range?

Yes with colibris! One or two in the heart/lungs and he'll run a minute, but not too far. Take a few out and put up a gel setup. Wrap it in deerskin. Watch it work.
  11. Coyote at close range?

I've shot deer with them at 20 yards. They'll do the job.
  12. Coyote at close range?

Any concerns about noise or can he just shoot 22lrs out the back door? If he's in town there's another concern with the law, so again Colibri 22lr's are best for that. Very quiet.
  13. Coyote at close range?

You can shoot coyotes with 22s and bring them down. At 15-20 yards you should be able to headshot most of them with 22lr. If you've got concerns with neighbors or sound, stick to the Colibris. They're quiet like a pellet gun, but I'd say you have to go for a lung shot in with them. Not sure how...
  14. Decisions. What to sell.

I'd have to agree with Biker13. Sell everything but your one or two favorite. You're going through a divorce. You're about to need cash and portability. Plus having so many in an apartment is extremely tempting to handymen and inspectors that may happen to come in while you're gone, marking you...
  15. ATF Chumming the water?

When in doubt, whip it out. Wait, that's advice for different circumstances. Wait until you say you're depressed online and they come out of the woodwork offering YOU guns with the coolest add-ons. I'm tempted to get depressed and just keep the stuff.
