    Another lesson in the "school of hard knocks", no doubt. Sure hate to hear it though! You'd think at least there would be some respect between hunters, but this thread just further justifies my lack of trust of anyone that I don't know, and very few of those that I think I know.

    Yes. I can set it up with a switch to let me flip back and forth, and I've seen a kit to allow both at the same time, but not sure how well that would workout.

    I've used a simple 2 wire dipole with some success, but nothing like the bigger antennas. It is fun to get out on basic equipment and minimal watts, but I like being able to get thru traffic, too. lol
