    This can't be the whole story. You are either a terrible customer or they have previous problems with you before. If it bothers you enough to write a letter to the CEO maybe you shouldn't have caused a stink in the first place e.

    Bump for a cool old rifle. I bet this thing is a absolute tack driver. One of the most accurate rifles I have ever owned was a old 700 BDL in .243.

    So I am wanting a shorter and lighter rifle for deer hunting. I really like the model 7 but I am wanting to look at all of my options before I jump on a model 7. What other rifles should I look at. I am not wanting to go the custom route. I am also not brand loyalty. Thanks for the help guys.

    I agree that its a great caliber but I am really trying hard to consolidate calibers. .308 or .270 are the only real calibers I am wanting. I already have a .243 but I don't ever shoot it and only keep it because it has been in my family for a long time. 6mm is a great caliber it just isn't for me.
