  1. Reloading M1 Garand and Enfield 1917

Interesting. From my research on the Garand, I'm told to load no bullet higher than a 150 grain and 48 grains of IMR4895. Otherwise, with a heavier bullet or faster powder I would probably damage the operating rod. That's why I want to use one load for both rifles.
  2. Reloading M1 Garand and Enfield 1917

Did you notice any appreciable difference between 47 grains and 48 grains of powder?
  3. Reloading M1 Garand and Enfield 1917

I would like to use the same powder and bullet for my M1 Garand and my Remington 1917 Enfield. I'm using 150 grain boattail bullets, with IMR 4895 powder. 48 grains of powder seems to be the norm for making an M2 ball for the Garand. Any experience with the 1917 and the same bullet? I've...
  4. New to reloading

Many years ago when I wanted to learn how to reload, I had nobody to teach me anything. I went onto YouTube and there is a wealth of information on there - everything from newbie help to pro. Right now, you will have to probably wait, sometimes a good while, for high demand components. Spend...

  6. What's with the new baiting regulations????

When it is posted on the Ga. DNR site, I'll bait. Until then, it ain't so.
  7. What's with the new baiting regulations????

As of tonight, 7/10/18, the Georgia DNR website still states no baiting north of the traditional line through the middle of the state - nothing new is shown. I've read a lot of comments on here about "new" regulations, but according to the state's own government website nothing has changed...
  8. Baitng passed

I checked the DNR website last night 7/3/18 and it still has the boundry running in the original counties. Until their site says differently, no baiting on my land. Don't need the problem w/ the warden.
  9. Hunting plots question

Let's talk hunting plot sizes. I know the size of your plot depends on many things, however, what have you found to be a good size for your deer plots? Also, I have a flock of turkeys which I rarely see on my land and I would like to make them a more frequent visitor. I live in the northern...
