    "Assault Weapon" is the word they try to employ. Assault rifle is a legitimate term. Often misapplied, but nonetheless an actual, technical category of rifle.

    Ben Stoeger has several videos on Youtube about dots and what has worked for him. Some folks have different needs or preferences but I doubt most of us are qualified to argue with his opinion that is based off literally 100's of thousands of rounds. Might be helpful/informative.
