I checked last night, apparently, of the various things I qualify for, personal property insurance through USAA isn't one. However, they do link to another company that I need to do some research on. Anyone heard of American Collectors Insurance?
$700yr? That's more than I pay to insure 3...
I have the safe, alarm, dog, and homeowners insurance part covered. Doing a quick mental inventory made the extra homeowners coverage questionable since it adds up so quickly. I'll have to look at USAA since I qualify through my father. Thanks again, still listening, I think many of us tend to...
I got to thinking a bit this weekend and started to consider a dedicated insurance policy for the firearm collection. I'm aware that the NRA is a logical avenue.. However, not wanting to get into a debate, I'm looking for other options that you guys would suggest based on your personal...
So, I recently saw a submission for approval that had been approved after being modified.. have no dog in the hunt and don't care to give too many details. But be very careful guys, make sure your name, trust, address, manufacturer, etc are all correct after approval.. I'm not a conspiracy kinda...
Sorry, missed this.. anyhow, it was Morgan Jewelers in Newnan.. I normally wouldn't give bad press to a company recommend by someone else, but this was horrible.. I was so pissed that I couldn't argue. I reluctantly paid and went on my way.. after stewing, I decided to work with Dobbs to fix the...
OK, just an update, I did the hot water, soap and lemon juice, excellent job!! It worked out perfect, exactly what I was looking for.. I put them in the oven on 150 or so for an hour then let them sit for a day or two before I primed them. Very happy with the results, thanks again guys!!
Awesome info as always guys, got em soaking in lemon water with soap right now.. they've been in for about an hour and I can see it working.. appreciate the feedback, I feel better about it. I'm sure I will be buying something in the future.. I'll have to stir the media vs sonic discussion when...
Hey guys, I'm getting into reloading, got the books and process straight in my head but have a question for cleaning.. The brass I'm using is once fired, by me, and clean except for the carbon fouling. Do I need to clean the cases? I dont care how shiny they appear to the deer I'm shooting, just...
I was planning on getting by there this week to get my 30-30 done anyhow.. Now with all this talk, I really need to see if I can make it on the 3rd....
The way I interpret the law, its an SBR, really no debate in my mind... Its a "rifle" (.22LR) cartridge in a weapon with a short barrel and shoulder stock.. Unless you have a pistol, I seriously wouldn't be caught with it in that configuration... As for intent, most Ar owners/builders could be...
I bought the sdn6 specifically because of the versatility. I was under the impression it would work on my savage 30-06. After getting it and running it on my ar's, it is significant, though nowhere near quiet or even .22 but comfortable.. It can be comfortably fired on my 10.5 w/o hearing...
Not sure its even worth dreaming about.. the ramifications of 80yrs worth of law enforcement and incarceration would make it extremely unlikely to ever happen.. Besides, they want a registry, we just actively take part and give them money for the privilege.. how stupid are we??
Gotta say, if it was me, I'd make sure that it was right.. It may be no big deal at the moment, but for my $200, it better be 100% accurate in case anyone decides to question it.. If its truly no big deal, they should be able to quickly reprint and get it out to you the same day.. Not cool!!
