For me it's an AR15 ..... more than anything else it's because a monkey can take it apart, put it back together, replace a barrel, bolt, etc without any actual machining, cutting or grinding anything ..... so you can shoot a stupid amount of dirty ammo through it and it still runs but if...
Most of the crime is drug/gang related so most don't target the nice parts of town first ..... and the desperate junkies looking for something to snatch to sell and
get a fix don't come that far north either ...... it's the real thieves that you have to worry about and most of them aren't...
Yes, serious latent psychological issues and you never use any of it ;)
This is as stupid as it is short sighted. She doesn't do it because we need the money but this is a hobby for my wife ... it makes her happy and she enjoys finding the deals. Yes, we do have a room that looks like a store...
I'm using the 3 part system and I have no trouble camping outdoors in a tent/blind with it in even Nebraska winters. With all three parts snapped together it's ridiculously warm/hot.
Ar15's and 9mm sigs for everyone in the house so all of our mags and ammo are interchangeable.
As for "load out" we're not going anywhere. I live in the woods 200ft up a hill from 38k acres of water ... when I run out of turkeys, hogs and deer we can just eat the neighbors.(bad joke) ;)
It's interesting and totally plausible ..... Australia has almost no guns, nearly their entire population density is in just a small handful of port cities and the entire landmass has a population barely bigger than New York City.
I use enough benadryl for my allergies that I buy Diphenhydramine that is marketed a animals in bulk from amazon and I buy my B12 from a veterinary supply company ...
I love it. I've got the blackpoint tactical guys setup to make me a nice kydex sheath for them also ... I just need to get the time to get down to their shop.
I like any kind of blade that's put together well. On the low end I love the Buck nighthawks, the Sog Seals. What I keep on my gear is a Chris Reeve "Green Beret"
and in my go bag a Reeve "Pacific"
In my pocket I carry either a microtech combat troodon or an emerson karambit
It sounds ridiculous but a nice quality sword and the ability to use it effectively (japanese and chinese martial arts and at least some fencing) can be both invaluable in the case that the ammo runs out and often prevent the need for actually hurting people. People, even crazy people, are...
I keep a Reeve Pacific in my go bag.
It's S35VN, it's hard and corrosion resistant and it's thick enough that it makes just as good a pry bar as it does a knife.
or in a pinch you can smash it with another log or rock and use it to split wood.
