Word on the chainsaw. I work w/ Butts County Fire-Rescue and My-oh-my was I ever wishing for a chain saw for the ambulance I was in that Night-of-the-January-12-Twisters. Had to play Limbo with some fallen power lines as well. The GOOD LORD kept us from becoming air-fryer humans.
  6. New bulk dried food store on Route 16/ South Metro region.

The store is called EVERLASTING HARVEST. It is just South of the little Town of Brooks where Fayette, Coweta and Spalding Counties all meet on Route # 16 just within spitting distance of Hollonville Road. (Anyone who knows about Huckaby's will be able to find the location real easily)...

For the infographic that ya'll posted, Georgia Bystander, I would recommend either silver, .999 copper, gold or platinum rounds instead of cotton-based Federal Reserve Notes. I say this because, by the time that the economy gets so bad that suburbanites need to exfiltrate from their...

  12. Pretty cool truck! very expensive! but cool.

THAT is a Command-and-Conquor Rig! My only prefernce would be for an on-baord water-purification system that is industrial-grade and can even be modular for desalination should the need arise.
  13. What did you do to better your prep today?

Got another 2-gallon pickle bucket with matching rubber-gasket lid. My workplace throws-'em out at least 1nce-a-week. Excellent way to store bags of dried beans split peas and lentils--Highly-recommended for reduced boil-time and higher-nutritional content (relative to rice and beans).

Hey all, Looks like I won't be able to make-it this Weekend. My workplace has me scheduled with No-way to cancel or reduce my time. I'm so sorry--I really wanted to be at this come-together. Maybe another chance will come.

Ok, I think I found the area based on Your Google Map-post, Johnny. So far, it strikes me as a nice B.O.L. region. And that High-Voltage transmission corridor sure yells-out "game critter supper-highway". :cool-new:
  18. Survival classes/information trading/group formation
