Those adventure kits are pretty rad, I've yet bought any for myself but have gifted a few. Have you bought their large orange one? I forgot what they call it but it seemed well stocked.
The volume of bleeding from menses is low flow
That's improvised, which I've said is fine several times, but gauze are better if you are stocking a kit. (Also said several times)
It expanded in the glass, and I packed it.
Packed the gauze too
You can also see where the gauze displaced more water as opposed to the tampon. Both glasses started off even
You make assumptions again. I've tested absorbency on both, my dude, the tampon is an inferior tool. You don't have to cram one of these things into someone to test absorbency; they do fine for their intended use, but man, them gauze worked.
I wouldn't wish the loss of a -patient- passengers on anyone.
Tenacious... I can agree and say the same to you. I'll be honest, I'm only bantering because im bored. Neither one of us will probably change our minds. The argument has turned cyclical
Should I drive to his location and do a mock-up of absorbency? YouTube is a good tool for him to see the difference. Again, I've got no qualms about improvisation, but why stock an improvised tool when you can pack gauze?

I've heard from several dudes who've been given a tampon for their IFAK, so I don't doubt it. Improvisation is fine if it's all you got. but OP was asking about stocking a kit. If OP is going out and buying new supplies, why not just add some roller or Z-fold gauze? There's videos comparing the...
Question my credibility if you want kotex. My statement still stands. Vitals are fine after major life risks have been attended to and I've heard real experienced dudes say and do dumb things. And that's not a personal attack on you; you have decades of experience and your experience backs up...
I havent said I run blood? I said I'm all about fluids, reread the statement. We don't carry blood on the truck. I wanna say life flight guys do, but the ambulance we don't. Got NS and LR. The last couple places I've worked had the same.
