I also have the Generac GP5500w portable generator that I keep on hand for lending to neighbors or using on search and rescue callouts. I had to go with my daughter to buy her some climbing gear. It was an experience for sure. The guy helping us was ok but the other workers and clientele were interesting to say the least.

  7. Tourniquets?

I'm a fan of North American Rescue. I carry at least two of their CAT tourniquets in each of my med bags in the vehicles and one in my edc bag.

  16. Snake bites?

Don't waste money on the suction kits. They can make things worse. Best treatment is keeping the victim calm, identifying the type of snake, and getting the victim to a hospital. Often times, a venomous snake will dry bite in a defensive situation. Clean the bite area, checking for venom around...

I've written a few books that deal with getting started in prepping. Here are some links: https://www.amazon.com/Will-You-Be-Ready-Preparedness/dp/1537796631/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1HG1HPWVEZCOB&keywords=shawn+clay&qid=1554213584&s=gateway&sprefix=shawn+clay,aps,309&sr=8-1...
  18. Med supplies

If you are interested in picking up medical gear at a good price, I recommend Shopgoodwill.com. They have both a Medical and First Aid section and you'd be surprised what all you can find. I bought a huge lot of stethoscopes and both manual and electronic BP monitors, some NIB. I kept one of...

On a related note, if you aren't a member of the CVS club, sign up. I get a coupon for anywhere from 30-40% off one item or my whole order every week. Often times, the website offers free shipping. I spend a little every week and have been stocking up on my med supplies. I've bought five of the...

Not sure. My generator runs on propane. I know it's dependent on resupply for my 250 gallon tank, but at least I know that I have fuel on hand for about a week if the power goes out.
