    Just ran into the same issue on a Steyr Aug with factory 13x1 LH threads trying to add a adapter for a 1/2x28 RH. I'm planning on trying some loctite and see if it allows me to keep one peice tight while getting the other peice locked into place while tightening in the opposite direction.

    I personally own one and have been very happy with it. I shoot it both with and without my Specwar 556 on it but prefer shooting with the can for the reduction in felt recoil and noise. Overall I think they're great for their $1400+/- retail price point.
