Yes - 17 slides fit G22 frames - or at least I hope they do or this is a big...Ooopss moment. (They do. I already had the subject line slide on another G22 frame :) )
Ultimately I see this Glock going into a RONI carbine chassis - the one with the folding stock. Initially it will be set up...
Hello fellow ODT'ers.
I am starting this thread to document what will hopefully be my last foray into NFA/BATFE Tax Stamp items.
It all started when I saw an add in the for sale section of ODT for an aftermarket Brownells Glock slide (G17) with an RMR mounted on it. The slide was stripped...
From my reading of the proposed changes that may be true. However, ALL entities (persons) listed in a trust which has NFA items in it will have to be fingerprinted, pictures taken, background checks done, etc. How far does this go down the line ?? What about juveniles that may be listed for...
Just something to think about. With a barrel that short you definitely want a bead "Ramp" soldered on the barrel first and then have the bead put into that. Having the bead put straight into the barrel will have your POA and POI way off.
Side note - most gunsmiths will not touch the barrel...
Sure
I sent in a Form 1 - to make an SBR AR15 rifle (10.5" barrel). I already own the over 16" barrel rifle.
I received the BATFE letter, which apeared to be your basic form letter that said the item (rifle) I was SBRing was not on the Schedule A I had sent in with the Form 1 and copy of...
tjkane1 - All I can report is what happened to me. And I got the BATFE letter, now I am still waiting on the Form 1 to be approved. Hopefully it only takes a couple more weeks at worst to get it returned.
QRF - That's exactly what I thought before I got the letter from the BATFE telling me I neeeded to have the item listed on my Schedule A, and them wanting a copy of it **prior** to approvaing my tax stamp. All very, very confusing.
And there is no doubt that someone else out there has been...
Without going into all the nuances and after a bunch of interesting discussions. Here is what I have come to believe and understand.
Everything (Form 1 or Form 4 items) has to be listed on the Schedule A prior to sending off the paperwork to BATFE for approval. Which I know makes no sense -...
I have a couple of questions that are not discussed a lot in reference to BATFE paperwork - Living Revocable Living Trustâs (RLT). If these questions have already been asked and answered Iâd appreciate the link to them.
RLTâs have a Schedule A (aka, appendix/annex/attachment) that...
Lets say for example you name your trust "tjkane1" - minus the exclamation marks.
Here is what you need to have engraved on the receiver or barrel:
tjkane1 Revocable Living Trust
Marietta, GA
There can be no abbreviations except for the state, which must the standard used by USPS. So you...
Technical point. Correct me if I am wrong here, but if one uses a 16" or longer barrel on their Glock, this would not fall under NFA purview ? Is that correct ? (Overall length will have to be over 26")
Regards,
Rob
Bypass - I actually think both are transferable to you. Although the one ad does not clearly spell that out. I recently saw a transferable "M16" style FA gun at a gun show in Carrollton (GA) of all places. The seller waned $12,000 which I thought was a good price. This was for a sear built...
Ruger MK II with Tactical Innovations, "Quest" suppressor.
And here is a pic of the gun by itself, taken by Brian of Ott Gunworks who did the Parkerization job.
BTL FED - I would not necessarily make that deduction. BATFE has historically been finicky on what they want engraved. Therefore a reason for confusion. I know that in the past they had abreviations of names go through. However as of the past year or so they have been very strict about having...
