The dip.
Will cause cancer/lead poisoning if not handled/disposed of properly.
Regimen:
Shoot till filthy
Wipe /brush
Ultrasonic/purple power or CLR
Last resort is the Dip if needed.
When clean it gets either high temp brake grease or spray dry lubricant.
None of my cans are Aluminum or...
DA farms work out...which is the problem.
Sub-contractor work tends to have more issues from my personal experience.
I have one DA can the baffles are not aligned properly but the performance hit is not worth the headache..
I like DA but I will not buy another of their cans unless I...
Just a note.
.45 acp is already expanded to .45
Less need for double taps with .45 acp so you don't have to carry as much ammo.
.45 acp will make women drop their panties in awe and your enemies wet themselves in fear.
Sorry..just didn't want to seem like a high velocity snob.
All joking...
Oh My!!! Beautiful 😻
Seems like you have done your research.
You may or may not need a low back pressure suppressor.
My bit of advice is if you have to tune, tune it for regular 5.56 NATO like XM193 or 855 ball.
They tend to have a lil more umph than Wolf or Winchester white box.
Less parts...
Nice work.
We appreciate the effort.
The 5.7 is an awesome round when you factor in everything it was designed to accomplish.
9mm was awesome at the time it was developed.
Today buying bullets that have an updated design for the task makes both very flexible in use if not cost.
I ran 9mm...
Wolfman + Zenith Mp5RS is sweet.
If you go short with the Sp5k or AP5p type you may have to do a bit of tuning depending upon the suppressor you pick.
Sometimes the 80 degree locking block is needed...some times not.
Some are different sizes..such as .45 acp sized or 9mm.
Some are meant to be easily serviced and others are a pain in the #$$.
It's an old design but good with proper maintenance...and awareness of when you need to clean it.
The above post has the information you need.
I don't believe either would be hearing safe but the Wolverine would be even less so due to the over bore but safer from a baffle strike.
Lite weight doesn't necessarily mean better barrel harmonics.
A friend of mine is into precision shooting and his groups shrink when he has a large suppressor on, so much that I now have a Nomad L in jail.
I will put up with an extra 6oz for decibel, accuracy and durability performance.
Do Not Use a .30 can for 9mm.
9mm is slightly bigger than .30 cal.
Cans are over bored by a small margin..if you shoot a caliber your can is not designed for it could lead to bodily injury and destruction of the suppressor.
Also alignment rods are your friend.
I really dig how well the Wolfman works with subsonic 9mm/300Blk, but I just believe $300 plus for a mounting system is a bit much.
Imho I think:
1. They released the Wolfman a bit early. The first come first serve is a good plan to keep the masses wanting more but are they going to be like...
I did not explain myself well yesterday.
In a time of stress most of us would probably run a full auto Mp5 dry once the shooting started.
Some times after action reports are like this for us average joes:
"How many times did you discharge your weapon at the intruder ?"
"Two or three times ?"...
Nope...sell it and buy a Mossberg
Edit..inside the house run #4/6 combo shot or jive turkey load.
Outside VR80 0 or 00 buck with a 20 round drum as Protestor/Looter/Rioter deterrent.
The biggest problem with DA here lately is:
Unobtanium
Quality control
Price for mounting systems.
With that said I like DA alot and if this gets prices lower I am all for it.
