    As I recall I used PPU 158gr 38spl to sight mine in and it worked quite well. I have the exact same rifle to suppressor set up but opted for a weaver 2-7 optic. Have you tried a different ammo to see if you can get more consistant results?

    Threaded Nagant Revolvers

    Depending on the cost factor involved in getting it threaded it seems that it would be a fun little suppressor host for sub $200. The only downside to the Nagant revolver seems to be the lack of available and inexpensive ammo.
